Kevin A. Harrison joined Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan (BCBSM) as Community Liaison in the southeast region. In this role, Kevin is responsible for implementing strategies focused on strategic health care partnerships that support and maintain BCBSM’s competitive position in the marketplace. Prior to joining BCBSM, Kevin had an opportunity to tour the world living in Berlin Germany and visiting Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Cologne, Dusseldorf, and Hamburg. Kevin was able to see other parts of the world while chasing his passion to play in the National Football League (NFL). Mr. Harrison is a former NFL Player and played most recently with the Buffalo Bills. During his career, Kevin has taken an active role in charitable causes, including the ‘Make a Wish’ foundation, and has received numerous community based leadership and humanitarian awards during his tenure as a professional athlete, including the Tony Sablowski Humanitarian Award for Community Involvement. Kevin earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and General Business from Eastern Michigan University. Kevin now resides in Ypsilanti Michigan and is a proud parent of one son. Kevin also enjoys playing basketball, practicing golf, and spending time with his family.
