![]() Ron Hilliard is a Network Engineer with Health Alliance Plan. His duties include monitoring HAP’s network (routers, switches, backbone fabric, firewall/security devices and the WAN). Also responsible for performance tuning, as well as capacity management, for all LAN/WAN infrastructure equipment. Ron acquired his technical training from National Institute of Technology (formerly known as RETS) and has held several technical positions since graduating in 1981. A graduate of Henry Ford High School in Detroit. Ron is married to Sharon and has a son and daughter, both presently in colleges. I belong to the mentoring program with the 100 BMOD. I also do volunteer work for HAP and my church. I was born in a small town Crawfordville, Arkansas. My mother and I moved to Detroit when I was 2 years old. When I’m not building networks, I’m an active Real Estate investor, love watching and participating in sports and playing chess. Want to continue reaching out to the youth of Detroit and sharing my wisdom and life experiences. |
