![]() Robert B. Johnson, Chairman/CEO RBJ Enterprises, LLC, a health care management consulting and business development company created in 2000. Mr. Johnson was the former Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of The Detroit Medical Center. The Detroit Medical Center, the largest health care provider in southeastern Michigan, operates seven hospitals, two nursing centers and over 100 outpatient facilities. The system has 3,000 licensed beds, 3,300 affiliated physicians and serves as the teaching, clinical and research site for Wayne State University School of Medicine. Prior to joining the DMC in March, 1993, Mr. Johnson served as the Chief Executive Officer of the Grady Health System in Atlanta, Georgia; the Chief Executive Officer of St. Louis Regional Health Care Corporation, St. Louis, Missouri; the Chief Executive Officer of DC General Hospital, Washington, DC; and the Chief Executive Officer of Kings County Hospital Center, Brooklyn, New York. Mr. Johnson holds a master’s degree in hospital administration from the University of Michigan School of Public Health and received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Tennessee State University. He has been active in many local, state and national health care organizations. Mr. Johnson was a charter member and has served as vice president for administration of 100 Black Men of Greater Detroit. He served as Co-chair of the Safe Night Committee and Co-chair of the Health and Wellness Committee. Mr. Johnson is happily married to Geri and resides in Farmington Hills, Michigan. |
