Mark Sanford is a Campus Executive Vice President, Northwest Campus, Wayne County Community College District where he is responsible for Campus Operations.  In addition he has participated as member of the College labor negotiations teams. Sanford has held several positions during his tenure at the College such as Director of Human Resources, and Assistant to the Chancellor for Policy and Compliance.

Sanford was previously Senior Associate Human Resources at Henry Ford Hospital, a business unit of Henry Ford Health System.  In his role he over saw employee and labor relations issues for approximately thirty (30) departments.

Sanford received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Alabama A&M University and Masters of Science Administration from Central Michigan University.  Sanford serves as board member for Black Family Development Incorporated and Pro-Literacy Detroit where he holds the office of Vice Chair. 

Mark and his wife are residents of Detroit and have one son.  He attends Perfecting Church.
